Freddie Records was founded in November 1969 by legendary six-time Grammy® winning artist, producer and songwriter Freddie Martinez. Founded on the basic principles of developing and nurturing outstanding musical talent, Freddie Records has become one of the leading independent Latin record labels in the U.S. Now, more than 35 years later, Freddie Records is proud of the legacy it continues to build with an artist roster and catalog that includes some of the biggest names in the music industry.
Freddie Records is home to legendary superstars such as three-time Grammy® winner and NorteÑo music icon Ramon Ayala, as well as Grammy® winners Los Terribles Del Norte, The legends, Solido, Atrapado and more. Tex-Mex music pioneers and five-time Grammy® winners Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo MAZZ, as well as Michael Salgado, La Tropa F, Masizzo, and Sunny Ozuna also call Freddie Records home.
